How to clean and disinfect the cell phone

Without disinfecting the cell phone we spend the day with it in our hands, we bring it close to our face and even to our mouth to talk, many actions that perhaps we would not do with other objects that we consider disgusting.

If you make a habit of washing your hands before eating and maintaining good hygiene habits, you may have a safety flaw by not keeping your cell phone disinfected. You may be able to see the screen without fingerprints, but this does not guarantee that it is free of viruses and other things that can make you sick.

In fact, research from a university in the United States determined that a cell phone, like the one you’re holding, can be dirtier than your bathroom toilet.

But no more worrying. Here are some tricks to keep your mobile device free of germs and bacteria.

Using a damp cloth will not be enough and some of the anti-bacterial products you use to clean your house may be too abrasive and damage your phone. However, there are several home methods you can use to clean the screen and other parts of your device without spending a lot of money.

First, the list of things we’ll need:

  • A toothpick.
  • One cotton swab.
  • Isopropyl alcohol.
  • Distilled water.
  • One to the suave.
  • A microfiber cloth (similar to the one you use to clean your glasses)

  2. Wait several minutes until you are sure the cell phone is completely dry before turning it on again.
